The 3 Things You are Doing Right Now that are Causing Your Dark Eyes Circles

30 05 2008

When I started searching for a solution for dark circles under the eyes I thought that it was going to be easy to find something that really worked. I tried several products just to end up empty handed. As you probably know there are some products out there to camouflage dark circles, others are topical lotions to place under your eyes. All of which offer very little improvement.

The question is… why?

Why do these products that you apply to your skin offer very little help?

The answer I found was simple yet very illusive. The problem lays somewhere else in your body and the solutions are inexpensive if you have the right information (more on this in a minute).

First, we must face the fact that some of the products out on the market are shameless fakes and scams, products designed to take your money living you empty handed and feeling cheated.

Now I don’t think of myself as difficult to satisfy but paying $90.00 for a cream that produces this result it’s simply a waste of your hard earned money.

This proves to you that products offered to cure dark circles only treated the surface of the skin and not the real problem.

So you are probably thinking that by going straight to the professionals might clear everything up and give you an honest solution. Don’t be so sure.

I did just that and the more I asked the more confused I became. Almost every respectable professional that I talked to gave me different answers: some told me that dark circles are hereditary, others claimed that the only solution was Laser surgery, there were the ones that believed that dark circles are caused by allergies, a few disregarded the problem and simply blamed it on lack of sleep, and I could go on and on.

When I asked Dermatologists and Cosmetic doctors about how to remove dark circles, one of the answers I got the most was that dark circles can only be removed by laser surgery. When I researched this version deeper I found a sickening truth.

The fact is that Laser surgery is in vogue and cosmetic doctors are making huge profits performing these procedures to remove dark circles. A simple case of dark circles can cost you a few thousand dollars.

No wonder most of these professionals recommend this treatment, how could they recommend anything else when they know that these procedures bring money by the truck load.

This really made me furious, I consider this unethical and misleading and so should you.

The other problem with surgeries is that sometime they produce undesirable results, burning of the skin; scarring and discoloration are some of the complications caused by eye lid surgery.

How to Make Your Aura Bright and Divine?

29 05 2008

The idea of a human aura, a radiating luminous cloud surrounding the body is an ancient one. Mediavel saints and mystics distinguished four different types of aura; the Nimbus, the Halo, the Aureola and the Glory.
The first two stream from the head, the aureola from the whole body, the glory is a combination of two.

The major important experimental investigations into the subject were conducted by Dr. Walter John Kilner of the St Thomas Hospital of London. In 1908, Kilner conceived the idea that the human aura might be made visible if viewed through a suitable substance, and he experimented with dicyanin, a remarkable coal-tar dye. The dicyanin screen was a solution of coal tar dye between two hermetically sealed pieces of glass. Looking through it in daylight and then turning the eye on naked man in dim light before a dark back ground, three distinct radiations, all lying in the ultra violet end of the spectrum became visible. The first was dark and colourless, it surrounded the body to the depth of a quarter to half an inch. The second, inner aura extended three inches beyond, the third outer aura, fell little short of a foot in depth.

The subject of aura is a complex one.

Kilner concluded that the higher brain centres are intimately concerned in the output of auric force.

Dr Annie Besant stated that in our daily life we think and thus create thought forms.

These thought forms remain in the aura or magnetic atmosphere of the thinker, and as time goes on their increased number acts on him with ever-gathering force, repetition of thoughts and of types of thought adding to their intensity day by day, with cumulative energy; until certain kind of thought forms so dominate his mental life that the man rather answers to their impulse than decides anew, and what we call a habit, the outer reflection of this stored-up force is set up. Thus ‘character’ is built, and if we are intimately acquainted with any one of mature character, we are able to predicate with tolerable certainty his action in any set of circumstances.”

By studying aura one can tell the characteristics of the personality; the diseases of the person etc.

If we cultivate positive thinking with abundant love towards humanity the aura will reflect it. The colour of the aura will become red if one entertains negative and violent thoughts continuously.

Hence if we train our mind properly our aura will become bright and divine.

Change Thorns into Flowers

21 05 2008

If you had to write an annual appraisal on yourself how would you describe yourself?

• Are you a mental sprinter who sees things quickly and easily? Do you react to things in a flash? Are you capable of making quick decisions?

• Do you find yourself watching others and saying to yourself, I could do that so much quicker?

• Do you find yourself taking on more work because you felt it was easier and quicker for you to do it? Do you feel that you waste so much time waiting for others to complete work?

• Do you feel irritable inside? Do you get frustrated because others don’t seem to understand what you are saying and where you are going?

• Do you find you always want to hurry things up? Do you feel more comfortable when things are concluded rather than left waiting?

• Do you find yourself running out of patience with partner, children, colleagues because they seem to take more time or appear to lack concentration and go off on ’stupid’ tangents which have little or no relevance to the project?

• Are you the alert, quick acting person who is known as the achiever?

• Are you that person who is good at developing ideas and keeping them on track?

If you own up to a couple or more of these traits and feel really irritable and impatient with yourself and those around you. If you feel that you are always clock watching. If you feel and act like a bear with a sore head more often than not. If you find yourself getting into unnecessary arguments with your partner and children as well as in work then stop for a moment. The negative part of your makeup has taken you over. You are operating from your weaknesses rather than your strengths. This is not your natural state. This is learned behaviour.

You have learned to become a thorn in the belief that this behaviour will protect you.

You prick people. You make people irritated and eventually ruin their performance.
And people keep away from you.

But all is not lost. You can find and wake up the natural you.

How?

1. Spend time on your own and remember your natural positive side:

inside every impatient person is a patient, gentle one waiting to get out.

inside every impatient person is a person who loves working with others and getting the best out of them.

inside ever impatient person is a person who loves to involve others in tasks.

2. Stop looking back. What has happened has happened it’s all part of the drama of life and cannot be changed. Don’t waste your time and energy, you can’t change the situation. Looking back is just another learned behaviour it’s not natural.

3. Focus on NOW. Look at your thoughts and think about what you want to achieve. The only thing you can control is your thoughts so keep them focussed on what you want. Keep them focussed on the task ahead.

4. Mix with people who want to succeed. Keep a distance from dream stealers. Keep away from people who spend their lives telling others why things cannot happen.

When you follow this method you will change. You will be seen you for what you naturally are; a positive, popular, sought-after, powerful, human being.

Instead of a thorn that is always pricking people you will return to your natural state; a flower.

People like flowers. People like to have flowers around them. People like the wonder of flowers. People like the magic. People like the energy, the life force, the uncontrollable power. People love being around natural things. People are amazed at how flowers grow and survive in the most unlikely situations. When you are natural and using your natural strengths people approach you and want to be with you.

The skills you have of alertness, quick thinking and a quick independent mind are key skills in this world. When you are stressed you tend to go it alone. But when you are working from your natural talents you are a gifted team worker. Just give yourself time to work from your strengths rather than your weakness.

Good Luck

Finding Your Passions

24 04 2008

Where does our motivation come from? What makes us want to strive for more?

It comes from our PASSION, and with out it what are we left with? We are left with our lives in a seemingly endless spin of unhappiness. When we no longer have passion in our lives we no longer want to strive to make our lives thrive.

This I understand clearly after 15 years.

In the early 1990s it took me five years to muster 34 credits at my local community college. I didn’t have the passion for formal schooling at the time. Yes, five years, but it wasn’t until my grandfather insisted that I transfer to a university that I started to completely understand how I felt about school and what my passion was for school. At that time, it took me four years to finish my undergraduate degree. I worked full time; I went to school fulltime taking full advantage of the university’s online programs and was even able to be inducted into the honor society while raising my first daughter. PASSION.

After I graduated, I decided to continue and within three years I was able to obtain my first master degree and year later I had my second master degree, while now raising two daughters. PASSION.

Because of this passion, I’ve been very successful in school and furthering my career, but now I find my life changing because my passions are different. My formal schooling is complete and now it’s time for me to redirect my passions.

I am going back to creative writing. Difficult for me because I’ve been doing technical and research writing for so long now, however it’s my true passion.

At this moment in time, if you are not happy in whatever it is you are doing, it’s not your true passion. Sometimes we get sucked into the myth that making more money, having a big expensive house, or driving the best luxury cars is our life’s passion. It isn’t. These things and objects make us comfortable, but do they really fill the voided holes we have in our lives? These things are fruits of our passionate labors, but they are not the passion itself. If you feel like you’re in rut or you’re not happy with your current situation. Change it and find your passion. Working towards your passion will make your life so much happier.

Find your passion and make it happen.

New Plastic Surgery Procedures - Body Thermage

3 04 2008

The body thermage is a relatively new procedure sweeping the plastic surgery field. Yes, it is the procedure you see performed on many of the makeover television shows.

New Plastic Surgery Procedures - Body Thermage

Many people wonder how celebrities can lose a dress size so fast with apparently doing anything. The answer is a procedure known as body thermage, which is generally used in the treatment of facial and neck laxity. Body thermage is considered an innovative and safe cosmetic option, which is based on radio frequency energy applied to the skin.

The body thermage procedure is often referred to as radiothermaplasty, therma-lift or therma-cool. The treatment is a non-surgical procedure that has shown effectiveness to temporary correct lax abdominal skin, but thermage can be also applied to lift other parts of the body including buttocks, thighs and arms.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the thermage procedure in 2002, originally for the treatment of facial wrinkles and rhytids. Since then, increasing references from TV shows promoting the results resulted in the procedure receive additional clearance for the extensive use of treatment anywhere on the body.

Although almost anyone can undergo body thermage, people whose age is between 35 and 60 are the ideal candidates for the procedure due to the mild to moderate skin laxity present at that age. The skin tightening procedure is meant to be permanent, but this can only be achieved with corresponding maintenance and follow-up programs.

In a massive breakthrough, thermage is also used to successfully treat stretch marks and loose abdominal skin after pregnancy or remarkable weight loss, particularly in obese patients. However, this procedure is not recommended for women immediately after childbirth, except if they are done having children because the effect will be lost with a following pregnancy.

A typical thermage procedure will last from 30 to 90 minutes depending on the area to be treated and pre-existing condition. People with implanted cardiac devices, including pacemakers, should avoid undergoing thermage procedures due to the radio frequency energy below the surface of the skin into the collagen. Specifically, the energy can interfere with the functioning of cardiac devices, a true disaster. Thermage does not require incisions, injections, or surgery. However, individuals taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID), such as naproxen, prednisone, and ibuprofen, must avoid it.

The decision to have a body thermage procedure is not one that should be taken lightly. Make sure to consult with a qualified plastic surgery to determine if it is solution to your condition.
